Who we are
Bikes for All People is a nonprofit social enterprise of Community Development for All People, dedicated to making cycling accessible, affordable, and empowering for everyone. We provide low cost bicycles, bike parts, accessories, and quick while you wait repairs and services. Our shop also offers meaningful volunteer opportunities, refurbished bikes for sale, and public shop use with repair guidance from our team. Because many of the people we serve are from low to moderate income households, we work hard to ensure that our services remain affordable and open to all. We welcome everyone from those who bike for fitness, sustainability, or mental wellness to those who rely on bicycles as their main form of transportation. A key part of our mission is to promote bicycle safety education. We believe that safe riding practices empower cyclists to move confidently through their communities. Through classes, one on one instruction, and community events, we help riders of all ages and experience levels learn how to maintain their bikes, follow safe riding habits, and navigate the road responsibly. By bringing together people from different backgrounds and experience levels, we create an authentic cycling community that celebrates diversity and fosters connection. Our volunteers, whether new to bikes or experienced mechanics, get hands on experience helping others while learning about bicycle repair, maintenance, and safe riding. We empower people through movement, education, and mobility, and we are powered by people like you. Your support, whether through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word, helps us continue this important work in the South Side of Columbus and beyond.
